Our Milestones
Access to safe, reliable water transforms lives. In Agotor and Ashaiman, Ghana, families once relied on distant, unsafe sources—costing women and children valuable time, education, and income while increasing health risks. The Global Touch for Hope Foundation installed community water wells in Agotor (2023) and Atadeka–Ashaiman (2025), delivering clean drinking water, reducing waterborne diseases, and improving overall quality of life. In Atadeka, the well also generates affordable access to water for residents while creating local revenue. These wells do more than meet a basic need—they strengthen community resilience, support livelihoods, and build a foundation for long-term, sustainable development.
In 2023, The Global Touch for Hope Foundation installed LED street lighting in Agotor, Ghana, bringing safe, reliable light to a remote community with little access to electricity. This initiative improves nighttime safety, reduces security risks, and allows families to move freely after dark. Children can now study in the evenings, small businesses can extend operating hours, and community spaces such as schools and clinics can better serve residents. By illuminating Agotor, we are strengthening education, supporting local economic growth, and fostering long-term community stability and development.
In 2025, The Global Touch for Hope Foundation, in partnership with Corinthian Baptist Church in Cincinnati, provided free health assessments to more than 800 residents in Ashaiman, Agotor, and surrounding communities in Ghana. With limited access to routine care, many families face preventable complications from undiagnosed conditions like hypertension and diabetes. These screenings promote early detection, health education, and timely referrals—reducing long-term costs and easing pressure on local clinics. By investing in preventive care, we are strengthening community health, improving productivity, and building a more resilient future for the families we serve.
In February 2023, The Global Touch for Hope Foundation completed Phase I of Kingdom Life Family Chapel in Ashaiman, Ghana. More than a place of worship, the chapel serves as a safe, welcoming hub for counseling, community gatherings, and support in an area facing economic hardship. It is expanding to host youth mentorship, skills training, food assistance, and health education programs—meeting practical needs alongside spiritual growth. By strengthening relationships and providing a trusted community anchor, Kingdom Life Family Chapel is fostering hope, stability, and long-term development in Ashaiman.
